its operations in 2007, giving the firm’s IT department the chance to completely redesign its telephone system.

Challenges:

Prudential SourceOne Realty needed a cost-effective, yet easy to maintain phone system that would also improve communications between their 95 employees in two offices and with customers.


Whether showing homes, meeting with sellers or finding new propertiesto list, Prudential SourceOne’s more than seventy real estate agents need to be able to conduct business at any time, any place. In additionto their system and communication needs, Prudential SourceOneneeded to find a more affordable and easy to maintain phone system.


Prudential SourceOne’s Director of IT, Steve Krzysiak, said “Our old Avaya system was antiquated and it would have required a highly paid phone guru to maintain and revamp it. Our restructuring provided us with a golden opportunity to do our phone system right.”

The Solution:

As missed calls are critical for agents in making a sale and resulting commission, Fonality eliminated that problem with several Fonality phone system features. With Fonality, Prudential SourceOne was able to allow agents to set up call forwarding remotely, a feature not possible on their Avaya system.

The Fonality phone system also allows agents to set up the Boomerang
Mobile Integration feature from anywhere and it automatically locates the
agent when they aren’t in the office. Or, the agent can log in from any
location with Internet access to check their phone logs.
Prudential SourceOne agents also find the voicemail-to-email feature
extremely helpful in responding to clients in a timely manner. “Our
agents really like the ability to conveniently listen to voicemail messages
from their email, which allows them to easily re-review a message and
