Modern business phone system provided more mobility.

Agility is the name of the game in the modern business world. Among enterprises both big and small, there's a growing need to be able to respond to changes fluidly without impacting day-to-day processes or the company's wider objectives.

Outdated phone systems constrained Hawk IT’s operations

John Murphy was faced with a similar challenge. As Managing Director of Hawk IT, a boutique managed services provider that caters to small organisations in the Macarthur region of Sydney, Mr Murphy found that his old business phone system was bottlenecking growth potential and ultimately affecting the company's overall efficiency. With satellite offices in Brisbane and plans on the horizon to expand into Melbourne, Mr Murphy recognised that a change was needed. "Mobility was undoubtedly the number one challenge we faced with our old phone system. The whole purpose of our business is built around being readily available, so it's absolutely essential that we're able to transfer calls to any location and at any time," explained Mr Murphy. "Our previous communications system simply wasn't able to meet our needs. Operating out of multiple locations was becoming difficult, expensive, and making our business processes slower and less responsive.“
